Morocco! – my amazing month of solo discovery in an exotic land

My most exotic and exciting trip (so far!) as a solo woman traveler has been to Morocco. I spent the month of February, 2019 exploring most of the areas of the country.

My time in Morocco was a fabulous experience. I took thousands of photos, and was so immersed, that I’m dividing my info about Morocco into sections. This is only a tiny overview; there will be many more details on each location in a series of upcoming articles.

If you enjoy travel photos of an exotic place, read on…

Why Morocco? When I left the US in November of 2018, my main object was to be in Germany with my daughter and her family whilst she was expecting her second child in January, 2019. Given that Germany is part of the Schengen Area, and that I had travel planned in northern Europe through April, I needed to leave the Area regularly. Being in a warm place was important to me, so I looked to Africa.

  7. Here’s an odd titdbit which has stuck with me. When I was in 6th grade in AnnArbor, we had a unit on Africa. There was a film which showed goats up in trees! I was astounded by this.
